Astonishing beauty of Mediterranean vegetation gave to this little town sort of melancholic peacefulness. The fisherman`s village, who came from nearby village of Vrbanj in 15. ct, is protected by colossal middle-age fortification. It was built on bases of the existing St. Marie church, in order to defend the village from Turkish soldiers.
